Your information
Privacy Policy
What this site collects, why, and what you can ask me to do about it.
I keep this simple: I collect as little as possible, I don’t sell anything to anyone, and you can ask me to delete what I hold at any time.
When you use the contact form
- The form asks for your name, email address, an optional subject line, and your message.
- Submissions are emailed to me and stored in this website’s database so I can find them again.
- The form is provided by Jetpack (Automattic, Inc.), which processes submissions on its servers in the United States.
- I use this information only to reply to you and to talk about working together.
When you book a call
- Scheduling is handled by Acuity Scheduling (Squarespace, Inc.), embedded on the Contact page.
- Anything you enter in that booking window — name, email, appointment details — goes to Acuity, not to this website, and is covered by their privacy policy.
- Acuity may set its own cookies inside that booking window.
Analytics
- I use Jetpack Stats to see which pages people read and roughly where visitors come from.
- This records things like page views, referring links, browser type and a truncated IP address. It is processed by Automattic, Inc.
- I don’t use advertising trackers, and I don’t build profiles of individual visitors.
Security
- Jetpack Protect and Sucuri help guard the site against malicious logins and attacks. These log IP addresses associated with suspicious activity.
Fonts
- This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser requests those files from Google’s servers, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
Coaching records
- Notes from coaching sessions are kept securely and are confidential. They are not stored on this website. See the Terms & Conditions for how confidentiality works in sessions.
The newsletter
- Signing up is entirely optional and separate from contacting me. I will never add you because you sent a message or booked a call.
- The list is run through Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.), which stores subscriber details on its servers in the United States.
- I use it to send occasional notes on leadership and trust. I don’t sell or share the list.
- Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and you can use it at any time. You can also ask me directly and I’ll remove you.
What I don’t do
- I don’t sell, rent or trade your personal information.
- I don’t add you to a mailing list because you contacted me.
- I don’t use your information to advertise to you elsewhere.
Your choices
- You can ask what personal information I hold about you.
- You can ask me to correct it or delete it.
- You can ask me to stop contacting you, at any time, and I will.
- To make any of these requests, use the contact form and say so in your message.
